oneway.exe is a first-person investigation puzzle horror game about story, internet culture, and an obsessive toxic romance, with an ARG still running alongside it.
A group of three developers called TRIO8 once tried to make a game, a love letter to the horror they grew up on and to each other. It never got finished, and all that is left are rumors about the lost demo and the tragedy around it, as well as a group called the Restoration Team working to archive whatever survived.
You explore the digital decay inside UNTITLED.exe and solve puzzles to piece together who the three of them were. What happened to TRIO8, and what did you have to do with it?
It's a narrative-rich supernatural mystery game, with a strong focus on the romance between Trio8. I recommend you abandon all of the cliche assumptions you might have about this kind of story, as it's likely nothing like you might expect.
